Health and Wellness

Last spring, the St. Croix Valley Foundation awarded $32,505 to 14 nonprofit organizations in Wisconsin and Minnesota through its Health and Wellness Competitive Grant Program.

The current goal of the Health and Wellness Grant Program is to tackle the challenge of childhood obesity by exploring the interactions between physical activity, healthy eating and the rich, natural resources the St. Croix region has to offer — its parks, farms, gardens, open spaces, forests, trails, lakes and rivers.
