[HUDSON, December 22, 2023] – St. Croix Valley Foundation President/CEO Heather Logelin has been elected as a board member for the Minnesota Council on Foundations (MCF). Logelin will serve a three-year term beginning in 2024.
“I’m honored and look forward to bringing my experience and perspective to the Minnesota Council on Foundation’s Board,” said Logelin.
As an MCF member, the St. Croix Valley Foundation is part of a dynamic philanthropic community spanning across several sectors. Logelin will join a cohort of board members from private and family foundations, community and other public foundations, and corporate and giving programs.
“I know that this service will provide me with the opportunity to learn from foundation colleagues from Minnesota and beyond – learnings I can bring back to the Valley to help the St. Croix Valley Foundation better serve our region,” said Logelin.
The St. Croix Valley Foundation was founded in 1995 to foster local philanthropy and respond to community needs. Today it manages nearly 500 charitable funds, has philanthropic assets nearing $80 million, and last year alone provided over $7 million in grants and scholarships.
